First of all: every country in Europe is completely different and has different laws, this is not like fuckin USA or Canada.

2nd: Overtom 301 is not even a so-called "squat": since many many years ago it's just a completely normal rented social center / pub with a bit of graffiti on the walls (woooow, so intimidating duuuude!).

3rd: Nowadays, since more than one year ago actually, squatting is back to illegality in Netherlands, which was the only country ever to allow squatting only under certain circumstances.

4th: The most amazing of all this is you can find all this information on Wikipedia before writing such a lame article... Come on man, there are even squats in canada! Are you a member of PETA or what?

A squat cafe nest to a rehearsal space, cinema and gallery? That sounds amazing! I've never heard of such a thing. This sounds like a need-to-be-made trip to me.

That looks really neat! The interior looks so much cleaner and more welcoming than the alleyway, and really cool that it's part of the film and art (sub)culture. Best, the food looks good.

Interesting! And I can see how it would seem intimidating — especially if the signs were in another language. Great find.

This looks awesome. I, too, am fascinated by squatting. When I was living in Europe I visited Denmark and there is an entire squat city there! It's called Christinia and looked a bit like this. But, man was it intimidating!
