Two of my favourite bloggers, Lisa from Vegan Culinary Crusade and Glauce from All About…(Vegan) Food nominated me for the ‘One Lovely Blog’ and ‘Stylish Blogger’ awards. Actually, I’ve been spoiled with two Stylish Blogger awards, with the second coming from Maria at Get Skinny, Go Vegan. How kind of these ladies! Now it’s my turn to share seven things about myself and pass these awards on to some new bloggers.
Seven Things About Me
1. When I was in university, I sold vintage clothing on eBay instead of getting ‘a real job’
2. I was a competitive swimmer for eight years
3. The first time I traveled outside of North American, I went to Bangkok, Thailand
4. I want to be a yoga teacher

Yoga with Friends in Costa Rica
5. I’m good at grocery shopping but terrible at shopping for clothing
6. I love street art. After food, I take more pictures of street art than anything else.
7. I’m going to the New York City Vegetarian Food Festival on April 3!!!

Wow, thanks for the award! I am also an awesome grocery shopper but any other shopping? I hate it!
Aww! Thanks, darlin’! This is the first time someone nominated me for one of these things!
Aw, thanks so much for the award! :D
It is a pleasure to nominate all of you lovely ladies :)
Oh, Jill. Thank you. You are lovely. Can I put that button on my blog? Where do I find out what to do next and pay it forward as well?
Great post! You listed some of my favorite blogs! Also, very cool that you’ve been to Thailand and want to be a yoga teacher… those are two of my own goals. :)
Hi Jill thank you for the award and what awesome suprise.I did my post and linked to yours. Thanks so much again!! It made my day:)Tanya
Aww. Thank you, Jill for the lovely blog award!! How sweet of you. :)
I’m so glad I passed on this award to you because I learned we have a lot in common. We both want to be yoga teachers, love grocery shopping and hate shopping for clothes. Maybe if we’re yoga teachers we would just need yoga clothes. That would help.
Also, thank you for the great list of amazing blogs to check out! I’m inspired to do some reading.

Shoot, just missed you again! I am in NYC now.
Thanks for the award!
Thank you so much for the nomination! What an honor!
Thanks! This looks like fun!
Hi Jill,
Thanks for the award! I am on the road right now, in Portland, OR and then down to Ashland, OR. so I will address this when I have more time. I love that you first went to Thailand. I’ve never been, but it’s at the top of my list. Most of us North Americans went straight to Europe, so I think it’s pretty cool you took the Asian route. I, too want to be a yoga teacher. Any teacher training suggestions? I know Costa Rica is loaded with retreats and immersions.

aw, I’m so behind on this sort of thing, but thanks :) I’m just finishing up my month of blogs about detoxing, so I’ll post my reply blog next week. I didn’t know you were a competitive swimmer! I’m guessing not synchro… otherwise we could have an ice/water synchro duel..
great job jill
That Irish cream twist cupcake looks amazing!!
Well, I’d say I’m a little behind in my blog reading (and my tweets!) and just now saw this. THANK YOU! Now I really will have to get moving and write a blog post.
