As far as I understand, Glycerol from animal sources is not considered vegetarian, and Frys DOES say vegetarian on it (but not vegan). The bar says 'may contain milk' but does not list is as an ingredient. Cadburies website lists it on its allergen page as: Milk - Yes.

I take from that, that it is made in a factory where other milk chocolate is produced, so they cant guarantee it doesnt contain milk, but if it doesnt actually intentionally contain milk, thats personally good enough for me.

@Mod rad - I'm pretty sure I remember it saying vegan right on it...or maybe that was another flavor.

cadbury's website lists peppermint cream as NOT vegan. I had always assumed they were vegan, but sadly it seems not. i presume the glycerol is from animal source as there's no dairy or egg. :(

Surely do wish we could find these sweets in the U.S. On the other hand, it's probably good that we can't. My sweet tooth is already out of control.

Those cupcakes look out of this world, how exciting to find so many treat options! This is my first time reading your blog so I'm not sure where you're based, but I wouldn't write off raw chocolate just yet. There is a company out of austin, Tx calle Shakti that makes some pretty mind blowing chocolate. Great blog, can't wait to read some of your other posts!
