When you travel, what vegan comfort foods do you miss? For me, vegan ice cream is a big one. From January to April, while we were backpacking in South America, we didn’t find any vegan ice cream. Not one scoop. On really warm days, I often thought back to being in Canada and enjoying a bowl of ice cream on the balcony. Now that we’re in Europe, we’re finding frozen desserts once in awhile. However, most have been made with soy, which tends to hurt my tummy. My favourite vegan frozen desserts are made with coconut.

Thanks everyone for the wonderful comments so far! We miss the lavender blueberry too and have heard a lot of cries for it and some of our other older flavors to come back. We have a list of 50+ flavors we used to make when we hand packed our pints. I can’t make any promises but I’ll let the team know we had two more requests for the return of the lavender!

Mint Galactica is my choice. Cappacino is great but I can get that locally. I can’t get the mint flavor here. I love Coconut Bliss brand not only because it’s vegan but low glycemic.

My daughter and I spent many a blissful evening on our back deck eating it recently while she visited me. Oh my gosh vegan coconut ice-cream! They all sound so wonderful! Since I have to choose I will go with Mint Galactica, out of childhood nostalgia.
Naked coconut all the way! Had them all and LOVED them all, but nothing beats the pure and simple taste of coconut.
Sadly, I can’t do the pineapple, so I’d love, oh, ANY OTHER FLAVOUR. I’ve had the Chocolate Hazelnut Fudge before, and I ate the entire pint in one sitting. Whoops.

I LOVE MINT GALACTICA!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It is SO creamy and Delicious! I think it is ten times better then any other type of Ice cream (cow’s milk!) It also has no weird aftertaste like the soy-based ice creams do. Being Vegan, this is very important to me! I would love to try the Naked Almond Fudge! Sounds wonderful!

I have limited flavors in my area, but the Naked Coconut is my favorite. It’s such a pure but not overpowering coconut flavor. I put it in smoothies! Yum!
