If a product has the words “vegan” and “travel” in its name, I want to try it. Such was the case with the Vegan Travel Kit from Marie Veronique Organics. This kit, comprised of small bottles of gentle cleanser, anti-aging oil, anti-aging mist and moisture serum, is packaged for the vegan traveler who wants to nourish their face while on the road and skip the hassle of checking in luggage at the airport.

The kind staff at MV Organics sent me a complimentary Vegan Travel Kit to test out and have offered up a second kit for one lucky Vegan Backpacker reader (see details below). After just a week of using their four step process (1. cleanse 2. hydrate 3. replenish 4.repair), my skin is feeling fantastic! It has been a long year of living with next to no facial cleansers or creams; I definitely needed to give my skin some extra love. As a young lady in her 20s, I’m not exactly the target market for anti-age face care, but I find these products leave my skin feeling hydrated, soft and smelling great, which can be appreciated at any age.

I love the smell of the essential oils and root, seed, and plant extracts in the MV Organics products. I find the fragrances quite addictive, actually. There have been a few days when I’ve spritzed my face and applied a little oil twice before noon. I’ve even got John on board! I like that MV Organics makes their products using “intelligent ingredients,” many of which are vegan and locally sourced near their headquarters in Berkeley, California. They operate responsibly and sustainably, sourcing fair trade, organic, and or locally grown ingreidents whenever possible, and use biodegradable products, labels, and packaging that’s easy to recycle.
