Hearing about the high prices makes me (for once in my life) thankful to live in America. Whenever my Aunt comes down from Canada she always says how much cheaper food is down here compared to up there. Hearing those prices, wow. Vegan stuff is expensive here too, but I'm probably not taking into account prices of "regular food" and exchange rates. Maybe the huge difference is all in my head. @Babette: I totally agree with you on that one! I wish I could go there.
