Primal Strips
Are you looking for a tasty vegan travel snack that’s light, compact, low in calories and high in protein? Maybe you don’t know it yet, but you’re looking for Primal Strips meatless vegan jerky! For your next trip, bring along some Primal Strips to satisfy cravings in between meals. They make for great snacks anytime of the day, whether you’re on the hiking trail or mid flight searching for something other than roasted & salted nuts. We like Primal Strips so much, we’re partnering with the company to give THREE lucky readers a 24 piece variety box. Like us, the winners will get to sample all the flavors and figure out which ones they like best. And there’s lots to choose from…
Update: Winners Announced…

Congrats to Shayla, Lindsay and Amber!!

Thai Peanut
Primal Strips meatless vegan jerky comes in six flavors: Thai Peanut, Mesquite Lime, Teriyaki, Hot & Spicy, Hickory Smoked and Texas BBQ. Three flavours are made with seitan (peanut, mesquite and teriyaki), two with soy (hickory smoked and Texas BBQ) and one with shiitake mushrooms (hot & spicy). The soy-based Texas BBQ and Hickory Smoked strips are gluten free.

Which Primal Strip is Your Favorite?
Before trying all of the flavors, my favorite two varieties were Mesquite Lime (The BEST!!) and Thai Peanut. Now that I’ve tried them all…. my opinion remains the same. The spicy ones are tasty, but I prefer the mild flavors. John on the other hand really enjoyed the Hot & Spicy and Texas BBQ, and was happy to help me finish them off. Regardless of your taste preferences, I’m sure you can find a Primal Strips flavor that’s just right for you. Pack them in your purse, backpack, suitcase, whatever and stop worrying about getting hungry in between meals. Now go win some!!
The Prize
Three winners will receive a Primal Strips variety box containing 24 strips, four of each kind

I love Primal Strips. They’re perfect for traveling, of course, but I love to keep some at my desk at work and in my purse. If I need a snack or someone else does, I can share. And I’m sharing the idea that great tasting food can be vegan and healthy!
Thanks!
Poochie

I would eat these at school. With no vegan options at my school i must bring my own lunch every day (which gets really old) and i need to add something exciting to it like these. Ive seen these online but never in any stores i shop at. i would really love to try them and am 100% sure i will love them and it will make all the non vegans jealous of my lunch.

I usually take these with me on trips. When I took them to New Zealand and showed them upon arrival to the inspector, he sniffed them curiously and then wrinkled his nose when I said it was faux meat. But he did let me keep them! They’re a life-saver while camping in a foreign country.
I work night shift. It’s 12 hours in a jungle of computers at a data center. There are times when I forget, or just am too lazy to get any food ready to take to work. There is nothing to eat there except vending food, which is not appealing at all. I can go out during the night for something, but in our town the only things open are Taco Bell and Steak N Shake…my husband and I stopped eating meat a couple years ago so these aren’t the best option.
I would LOVE to have a supply of Primal Strips so I can have that “Ahhhhh” moment of eating something delicious and knowing it’s got all the goods to get me through the night. I always have hot tea (it’s cold in data centers) and even though it sounds weird, I think the two would go great together.
And I did the facebook, twitter, and a couple other things on that list:)
I would keep Primal Strips in my purse and eat them on plane trips! (P.S. – I have a US address!).

I could use these whenever the old cravings for sugar comes up- gradually going away but I still hear those bad bad ‘sugar and fat voices’.
As both a vegetarian and a diabetic, Primal Strips are a huge favorite mid-afternoon snack! Both my wife and I have always considered Primal Strips as TREATS. Love ‘em!
I’d love to win a box! I’ve always wanted to try them, but can’t find them near me! I would eat them on my hour drive home from work, my trip from Florida to Maryland to do the Warrior Dash, and while I compete in the Warrior Dash (in MD) and in the Rugged Maniac (in FL)!
I love Primal Strips! I seek them out in the store so I can have a treat in the car after shopping!
I would eat them on my bike during a long 50 miles training session.
I travel for work, approximately 25,000 miles a month. Therefore, these being the perfect snack to carry, I will be eating them on the plane, in the airport, in the taxis, in the hotel rooms and at home. It’s not always easy to find a convient vegan snack to carry in my luggage.

I would keep them in my purse so I can have a quick snack when my energy is down from shopping or just being out all day. I would also put them in my desk drawer at work so I’m not grabbing something sugary(since I work at a bakery).
