PURE Bars

Us vegans are always packing snacks when we travel. That’s just what we do. One of my favoruite things to pack, because they’re just so darn easy to store and eat, are vegan bars. I have my favourite brands but am always willing to try new varieties. That’s why I was so excited to receive a sample box of Pure Bars.

PURE Bars Giveaway

We’ve been traveling around the west coast of Canada for the last few weeks and I’ve enjoyed snacking on these bars while on a plane, ferry boat, in a park, and on a road trip.

PURE Bars

Pure Bars come in six flavours: Apple Cinnamon, Cherry Cashew, Chocolate Brownie, Cranberry Orange, Trail Mix and Wild Blueberry. In addition to a great selection of flavours, you’ll find Pure Bars are not only vegan, but organic, gluten free, soy free, and made without artificial sugars. As if that wasn’t enough, they’re also raw. They’re not really marketed as protein bars but do contain rice protein concentrate and give a small boost with 5-7g of protein.

After sampling each flavour and sharing them with friends, I have nothing but positive comments to share. Because they’re made with organic fruit, the flavours burst through. I especially enjoyed the flavour of the wild blueberry bar. And the chocolate brownie bar, the sweetest of the bunch, was my second fave. These bars are filling, tasty and good for you.
