Tasty Bite Kerala Vegetables
Tasty Bite has a line of vegan meals that are ideal for vegan travelers. Their Indian inspired dishes may come in a box but, unlike most packaged foods, they’re free of preservatives and contain only the ingreidents you’d expected to find in homemade curries. They’re small and light weight, which makes them easy to bring along for camping excursions, business trips and more. All you need is a little heat, either from a microwave or pot of boiling water, and they’re ready to eat in just a few minutes.
Update: Winners Announced…
Congrats to Dana and Margaret!

Tasty Bite Indian Curries

Tasty Bite
We tried a selection of Tasty Bite’s Indian curries and were super impressed by the flavours. Our favourites were the Bombay Potatoes, Punjab Eggplant and Bengal Lentils.

Boil and Open...That's it!
Each one comes in a packet that’s ready to be submerged in boiling water and left to cook for about five minutes. They are portioned very well, with one being enough for me and two being just perfect for me and John to split with some rice.

Bengal Lentils
Here you can see a steaming bowl of Bengal Lentils.

Bombay Potatoes
And some lovely Bombay Potatoes.

Tasty Bite Sauces
Tasty Bite also makes sauces, which you can use to spice up grain and vegetable dishes.

Thai Peanut Veggies and Soba Noodles
We paired their Thai Peanut Simmer Sauce with soba noodles, broccoli, carrot, red bell pepper, onion and a bit of fresh parsley to make a quick and healthy dinner.

Tasty Bite Rice
Tasty Bite has a line of rice, which includes varieties like Basmati, Jasmine and Thai Lime rice.

Tasty Bite Basmati Rice and Chana Masala
Here you can see Tasty Bite Chana Masala and Basmati rice.

You could win all this food!

Thai Peanut Veggies and Soba Noodles!!!!
The Bombay Potatoes sound really interesting as does anything lentil. I just wonder how much sodium does each packet have and do these travel meals contain gluten and soy both of which I am allergic to. I sure hope they don’t because it would be nice not to have to make a complete meal when I get home from work. I would also like to know the nutrition facts of each of these packets. What are the calorie, fat and protein counts of these meals. Are the ingredients ion these meals organic? Even prepackaged vegan meals are not that nutritious to eat. Just some red flags that I need cleared up before I eat this food.
I would love to try the Chana Masala.
Also the Bombay potatoes
I didn’t even know Tastybite had rice….

ooh, ooh, I want to win! I have tried the tarka dahl before and it is AMAZING! Superbly spiced and so comforting. When I had it I was feeling a bit blue..no reason and I put it in a large bowl and sat with my feet up, nursing the bowl to my chest and scooping up delicious spoonfuls of ochre. They sell them in the UK too. You are right, they are perfect, chuck it in your bag and whip it out when you need it, travel food.
If..I wom (fingers crossed), I’d love to try the Malaysian Lodeh.
My exboyfriend made me Tasty Bite as our first meal in our apartment when I moved across the country to live with him. Brings back great memories.

I LOVE INDIAN FOOD. In fact, I’m addicted. It’s how I treat myself while maintaining my vegan gluten-free diet that keeps me in remission from rheumatoid arthritis. But going out to eat it two or three times a week really adds up. So I was thrilled when I found Tasty Bite Indian entrees at Good Earth Health Food store in Orem, UT. I immediately checked online, and found the Tasty Bite website where you can order the entrees straight to your door, and the Tasty Bite Facebook Page which has discount codes for your orders! I ordered a big box for my boyfriend, who is also vegan gluten-free, and the company even designates a nice big space for a gift message for free! At an average of 2.99 per entree, and the convenience of feeding my craving whenever it hits, restaurants are out of some luck from me.
I’m also excited that Tasty Bite led me to Vegan backpacker, as I’m frequently moving around, for work and my personal life, and I just may take something you share on my backpacking trip to Europe!
Please note: I’m completing every means of entry! My blog is apesduh.wordpress.com and my Facebook name is ApefaceSpacecase and my Twitter name is Apesduh
I love Chana Masala!, it would be the first to go for sure!
