Coca, not to be confused with the Marching Powder variety that got Thomas McFadden into so much trouble. The mojito sounds ace. Surprised you didn't go to San Pedro prison though, it's supposed to be in all the guide books. The Marching Powder film is currently being made by Brad Pitt's production company, so for anyone that doesn't have a clue what I'm on about all will be revealed in 2012.

@Laloofah – The coca mojitos were very strong. We were having coca candies at the same time so our gums were definitely numb. They were made with a local alcohol, but I can’t remember what it was. Too bag I forget because I think that’s what was responsible for most of the flavour.

I’m dreadfully curious now what a coca mojito tastes like! It looks very, well… green, leafy and limey! :-) Can you describe the flavor? Did it make your gums numb? :-)

I consider myself a bit of a mojito connoisseuse having tried mojitos in pretty much every country I´ve visited (they are particularly good in Barcelona). By mojito standards, the coca one in La Paz was reallllly strong, watch out.
