Sorry you couldn't get into Lehka Hlava! It's a great place, and I'm glad my photo could help out with showing the interior.

Another of my favorite vegetarian restaurants in Prague is Radost FX. It's all vegetarian with lots of vegan options. It's also beautiful inside.

I absolutely loved my meal at CountryLife! I ate there in August and then (funny enough) went around the corner and checked out the Sex Machines Museum.

Prague is such a cool place, and I found the vegan food there to be great, and reasonably priced!

I lived in the flat with the only balcony on Milantrichova(where Country Life is situated). It was the best place a vegan could ever hope for when living 5000 miles from home. I feel so sad for you that you didn't get to partake in Clear Head. It's been two years and I still crave it all the time. It's too bad that Maitrea isn't quite as good, because the atmosphere is pretty nice. It was a shorter walk for us, but we only went there when we couldn't get a reservation at Clear Head.

Wow. Just found your website. So fabulous! I am moving to Prague in February, and you've got me even more jazzed at being there and being me! Thank you so much! I'm psyched to turn other people on to your site and blog, and I know it will come in handy travelling around too. HUGE smiley face, stars etc. !

I'm visiting Prague with my daughter who is anaphylactic to eggs and milk , so this has been so helpful. She is going to love the desserts. Only the peanuts to worry about now!

Hi!
First of all - great job with this blog!

We have four new vegan restaurants in the center of Prague - three at www.lovinghut.cz (you probably know as it is a worldwide chain) and www.vegancity.cz. Being vegan in Prague is simply oh!

Next time you visit Prague or Czech Republic, why not contact some locals before, we can give you special tips or updates :) You can contact me if you are interested in anything vegan in Prague / Czech R. - kiertaa.kehaa (@) seznam.cz

PS. If you like pizza most pizzerias in center will serve you pizza without cheese, you just need to doublecheck they understood - no cheese at all. But why going to pizzeria when there are Loving Huts everywhere :)

PSS. - Country Life is closed on Saturday and it usually closes around 6 pm on Friday. Most vegan restaurants are closed on Sunday. The thing to go is the new Loving Hut in OC Novy Smichov (shopping mall, close to center), where they are open all week until 9 pm. Hope this helps!

Oh how I miss the desserts from Country Life. I checked again and again to confirm their vegan-ness, as I had never had vegan cream so good, nor vegan pastries so flaky!
