You didn’t mention a great vegetarian, mostly vegan restaurant in Granada: Restaurante Paprika en Cuesta de Abarqueros, near to the Puerta Elvira. They do great food. They are vegetarian with most of the dishes with vegan option. I love the food they do, they use ecological ingredients, local ecological wines, prepare all themselves. Highly recommended.

Great post!! and thank you for the restaurant tips. I have lived in southern Spain for a long time now. A typical ‘vegetarian/vegan,’ dish here used to be a plate where they had just fished out the meat before giving it to you :-) see no evil…

THANK YOU for this blog, i already feel at home in granada. i new cities i like to flow through without specific hints, BUT i didn t even know THAT you get tapas when having a beer :) and in case i get lost in starvation, i ve written down some of the bars that will feed me! :)

There are not place missing, as I wrote in the article,I wanted to give some tips about some of the places that in my opinion I would recommend!

But we could organize a “Granada vegan-tapas-tour meeting” and discuss about it :)

There is an important place missing… The Páprika Restaurant in Cuesta de Abarqueros. They are vegetarian but also offer vegan dishes.

This is the most helpful blog ever, thank you SO much. Being veg there are only so many times you can pick jamon and tuna off of everything. Also Hikuru-right across from centro de lenguas modernas in realejo is a yummy veg restaurant.

I´m vegan and I live in Granada, too. There are more places where you can eat vegan in Granada. F.e.: Bar el Jergón, in Realejo. Bar Rinkon, in Calle Elvira. Another that I cant remember how it is called… in Calle San Jerónimo…
Granada is a vegan paradise! :D
