It's so true! Coming to think of it, TnT really is a Vegan Paradise. And the best part is, it's not expensive to be a vegetarian in Trini cause you can grow your own vegetables, fruits, seasonings etc right in your back yard!

Side note - Those pictures made me hungry!

First of all, TRINI MASSIVE!!

I'm glad you enjoyed our beautiful island and our great cuisine. My only question for you is this: Did you make sure that the bara ( flatbread) and the roti were not made with ghee? I ask this because some Trinidadians do make these items with ghee, which is clarified butter.

Hi Love your blog,

I am not surprised, Trinidad and Tobago has many Indo-Trinidadian and Tobagonian (Indians) living there. The Curried Bodie looks delicious.

How cool to see a post on T&T! I live in Tobago and regularly buy coconut water and sugar cane juice from that stand in the picture. Every other Friday it's fresh sugar cane juice and doubles (from the lady up the road who makes her doubles with channa (chick peas) and black-eye peas).
