@bitt - Thanks for checking out my blog :) I'm so looking forward to visiting China. It's planned to be the last stop on our trip. I really hope we have a enough time and money to make it there and hangout for a few weeks. Is there anything in particular you'd recommend we check out?

Jill,
Your quarter way through your Vegan Backpacking adventure. Oh how I envy you both. Enjoy. I smiled when I read about vegan food in Argentina. My husband wishes to go there someday and jokes with me, that theres no vegetarian food there. Well you have just shown there is not just vegetarian food, but good vegan food too. I'll be reading about your adventures. The worldly plates of food look really fabulous, a great way to learn about other cultures.

Sara,

It's true, for any trip you have to save money. Thankfully, travel is becoming more affordable as the cost of flights go down and services like couch surfing become more popular. It doesn't have to be expensive. You just have to spend your money wisely and stick to your budget.

Wow! What a fun trip. I'm wondering how much money you had to save up to do this kind of trip. It's definitely something I want to do in the future, but it seems like I would have to save for a long time!

@Melisser Thanks for checking out the blog! It sure seems like you have more than two weeks vacation! It looks like you certainly know how to make the most of it :)

@veganlisa That would be amazing if our paths crossed somewhere along the way. Please keep me posted!!! It looks like we will be in Thailand a bit earlier in the year. By the time you go, I should have a full report on the vegan situation posted :)

@Andrea Six months is a long time! Where did you go? Any favorite cities you'd recommend we check out?

This sounds like a fabulous adventure. We've gone to other countries for as long as 6 months, but never as backpackers. Have a great time.

I am so excited for your adventures in 2010. Thank you for sharing the vegan discoveries you've made along the way.

I'm committed to traveling a lot more in 2010 as well (I've book four flights so far). It looks like I'll be in Thailand in November-Phuket, Chaing Mai and the Elephant Nature Park. Maybe our paths will cross there.

Until then, enjoy the journey!

Cheers from Toronto.
